Volunteer for the 2018 Park City Kimball Arts Festival!
Dates: August 3-5, 2018 on Park City’s Historic Main Street.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Park City Kimball Arts Festival, it takes more than 500 volunteers and hundreds of hours to support this premier Utah event. The Arts Festival could not happen without the support of volunteers from our community!
The Arts Festival is the Kimball Art Center’s largest fundraiser of the year and it allows us to fulfill our mission to inspire and connect the community through art.
We have several shifts available ranging from face painting, to concession stand assistant to entry gates volunteer. Sign up for a couple shifts and make art happen for your community. Thank you!

Volunteer Lounge & Check In:
The Volunteer Lounge is located at the Gateway Center Room 202 (136 Heber Ave . Park City, UT 84060). You can enter off the corner of Heber Ave and Swede Alley, near Back Door Deli and Handle, then follow the signs in the building to the Volunteer Lounge. Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before your shift starts so you can check in, receive your t-shirt, credential, goody bag and directions on where to go.
In order to reduce our footprint, we are asking everyone to please bring a water bottle or hydration pack. We will have water stations and water bottles in case you forget yours. I would also recommend bringing snacks to keep your energy up.
Parking & Transportation:
Park City is a small town and we do anticipate parking to be extremely limited during Arts Festival weekend, we encourage everyone to take advantage of the public transit and free parking lots. You can park at the Kimball Art Center (1401 Kearns Blvd.) or Deer Valley Resort (Friday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 p.m. – 3 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.). There will be extra buses running from both parking lots to the Transit Center which is located right across from the Volunteer Lounge. If you are coming from Salt Lake City the Kimball Junction Transit Center is also a great option. You can find Park City’s full bus schedule here.
There is paid parking available in the China Bridge parking lot, accessible via Marsac, for a cost of $20 a day.
We are also offering a Bike Valet, presented by Cole Sport, on 7th Ave accessible via Park Ave. Please plan ahead for extra transportation time.
Do not hesitate to call 911 in the event of an emergency. The police and Festival Ops are in close communication and both are great resources if there are any issues. If you see something, say something. Find someone with a radio and alert Ops of any suspicious activity. Park City has now implemented a mass text program to inform you directly of any incidents. You can text PCEVENTS TO 888777 to get real time emergency and transportation information during the event.
First aid is located at the Post Office and at Heber Ave and Main Street. The police will also be located at the Post Office.
Specific Assignment Descriptions:

Thank you all so much and please do not hesitate to email or call me with any questions. Volunteers make this Festival possible! THANK YOU!
