CALLING ALL KIDS!
The Kimball Arts Festival kids’ area provides even the littlest art aficionados a place to engage in and be inspired with the art-making process.
Kids’ art making activities are designed for children of all ages and connect the festival with the educational opportunities available year-round at the Kimball Art Center.
Grab a seat and take part in an art-making experience at the festival.
$5 donations are encouraged for Kids’ Activity programming. QR codes will be available to process donations.
Community Clay Sculpture
Explore forming clay into an idea and add it to our collaborative sculpture.
*Experimentation is encouraged, pieces created will not be fired.
Draw, embroider or stencil a message onto a bandana or flag while learning about Kimball Art Center’s current exhibition The Stories Woven Within.
Community Partner Tent
Park City partner organizations including Park City Library, Swaner Eco Center, and National Ability Center host visual art making experiences at the festival.
Children attending the Festival are offered a Scavenger Hunt clue card at PCKAF entrance gates. Together, with their parents or guardians, children will search for answers throughout Main Street and the Festival, engaging with the art and artists, while keeping them involved in the Festival experience. Upon completion, the Scavenger Hunt clue card will be returned to the PCKAF kids activity area in exchange for a prize.
The annual Scavenger Hunt is sponsored by O.C. Tanner.
