Why should I volunteer at this year’s Festival?
In 2018, 387 volunteers donated 2245 hours to make Arts Fest a success. In addition to free admission, volunteer benefits include an appreciation party, snacks and meals while on duty, swag items, and enough good karma points to make up for your college days. If you’re interested, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I get my company’s name out at Arts Fest?
Congrats! You’re wise enough to see the value of promoting your brand to over 55,000 art enthusiasts. Sponsorship opportunities are available and start at just $10,000 for the entire weekend. Email: email@example.com to learn more.
My dog loves art. I should bring him, right?
No. Even if your pooch is a Picasso aficionado, Arts Fest is no place for the four-legged. The asphalt is hot and can burn their paws, there are thousands of people on Main Street and leashes can create a tripping hazard, and fine art and Fido just don’t mix. Please leave your hound at home.
I plan to buy a lot of art but don’t live in Park City. What are my options?
Most artists will arrange to ship artwork for you. There’s also a post office located on Main Street. If all else fails, stop by the Kimball Art Center info booth and we’ll assist you.
I’ve lost something important. What do I do?
All lost then found items (including children, wallets, keys, and spouses), will be immediately taken to the Kimball Art Center information booth, located at the intersection of Heber Ave and Main Street. You can also report something missing to the Kimball staff at this location.
I heard Summit County locals are free this year, is that true?
This is not fake news, you heard right! In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we are freeing the Fest for those who call Summit County home. If your primary residence is located in Summit County, Utah and you have a valid, government-issued photo ID to prove this (driver’s license, student ID, passport, etc), then admission is free for you all weekend long.
To claim your free entry wristband, you must:
- Click on the ticketing link on the home page of ParkCityKimballArtsFestival.org.
- Select “Summit County resident” and fill out the registration form.
- Collect your wristband at Will Call located at Kimball Art Center, 1401 Kearns Blvd in Park City.
Wristbands can be picked up from July 15th-August 4th 2019. Monday-Friday hours are 10am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR VALID PHOTO ID SHOWING PROOF OF YOUR SUMMIT COUNTY, UTAH RESIDENCY TO COLLECT YOUR FREE ENTRY WRISTBAND. No other documentation will be allowed. So, if you are new to Summit County, be sure to hit the DVM and update your license.
Each individual receiving a free wristband must be registered in advance. For those who share an address (example: parents with children, married couple, divorced couple who can’t decide who gets the house, etc), one person may collect the wristbands for the entire household, but the designated collector must bring the photo IDs of each family member with them showing proof of residency for each person. One wristband per person. Lost, stolen, or damaged wristbands will not be replaced.
Remember, this event is a fundraiser, so we’re still very happy to accept a donation in exchange for your free admission!
Please be sure to thank our generous sponsors who helped us Free the Fest for Summit County locals: Intermountain Park City Hospital, Zions Bank, Strong Automotive Group, Promontory Club, and Deer Valley Resort.
