Volunteer for the 2017 Park City Kimball Arts Festival!
Dates: August 4 – 6, 2017 on Park City’s Historic Main Street.
The Kimball Art Center’s largest fundraiser and volunteer event of the year in taking place August 4-6, 2017. Sign up to volunteer for this fun-filled weekend on Park City’s Historic Main Street. We need volunteers for lots of different positions and you are bound to find one you’ll enjoy.
Please read the description of each position and make sure you meet the requirements. There are restrictions on which positions court ordered volunteers can sign up for, indicated in each description, as well as age restrictions and required training. Volunteers ages 12 – 15 years old may volunteer in the Kids’ Area or in other positions if their guardian is volunteering with them. Volunteers in the VIP Lounge and Beer Garden must be 21 years old and TIPS/SMART Certified.
The Volunteer Lounge will be located in the Gateway Center (136 Heber Ave #204, Park City, UT 84060), on the corner of Heber Ave and Swede Alley where Back Door Deli and Handle are located. There will be signs inside the building directing you to the Volunteer Lounge and Check In.
Parking & Transportation:
Park City is a small town and we do anticipate traffic to be heavy during Arts Festival weekend, we encourage volunteers to take advantage of the free parking lots and public transit. You can park at Park City High School (all day) or Deer Valley Resort (Friday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 p.m. – 3 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.). There will be extra buses running from both parking lots to the Transit Center which is located right across from the Volunteer Lounge. If you are coming from Salt Lake City the Kimball Junction Transit center is also a great option. You can find Park City’s full bus schedule here.
There is paid parking available in the China Bridge parking lot, accessible via Marsac, for a cost of $20 a day.
New this year we are offering a Bike Valet, presented by Cole Sport, on 7th Ave accessible via Park Ave.
Please plan ahead for your transportation time.
